Young
Entrepreneurs Class
Teaching kids that their big ideas are worth pursuing.
Introduction
Every child has ideas. The Young Entrepreneurs Class at Aim High Pasadena teaches them what to do with those ideas. This engaging annual program introduces children and teens ages 5–18 to the fundamentals of entrepreneurial thinking — not just how businesses work, but how to think creatively, solve problems boldly, and believe that what they have to offer the world has real value.
What kids learn
The class is hands-on, collaborative, and designed to meet kids where they are. Throughout the program, students explore how to turn a problem into an idea and an idea into a plan, the basics of how businesses are built and how money works, creative thinking and brainstorming techniques, how to communicate their ideas clearly and persuasively, teamwork, leadership, and learning from failure, and building confidence to take smart risks.
Why entrepreneurship for kids?
The skills that make a great entrepreneur — creativity, resilience, communication, initiative — are the same skills that help kids thrive in school, friendships, and life. This class isn't just about business. It's about raising children who believe they can make something happen.
