Social Skills Coaching
Helping your child connect, communicate, and belong.
Introduction
Social skills don't always come naturally — and that's okay. Some kids struggle to make friends, speak up in groups, or navigate conflict without shutting down. Others feel left out and don't know why. As a certified life coach with over 30 years of experience working with children in Pasadena, I help kids ages 5–18 develop the social tools they need to build real, lasting friendships and feel confident in any room they walk into.
What we work on together
Every child is different, so sessions are tailored to your child's specific needs. Common focus areas include starting and keeping conversations going, handling disagreements and conflict without anxiety, reading social cues and body language, building self-confidence in group settings, managing shyness or social anxiety, and making the transition to a new school or social environment.
What parents tell me
Most parents come to me after noticing their child is eating lunch alone, avoiding playdates, or coming home upset after school. Within a few months of coaching, those same kids are initiating friendships, advocating for themselves, and walking into school with their heads up. The change doesn't happen overnight — but it happens.
How it works
Sessions are available for children and teens ages 5–18, both in-person in Pasadena and virtually for families across the greater Los Angeles area. We start with a free 20-minute discovery call where I learn about your child and you ask me anything.
